Biasanya mereka akan mengatakan “No visa, no visa for Indonesia,” sebab mulai bulan Desember 2003 lalu pemerintah Vietnam baru saja menerapkan kebijakan bebas visa untuk sebagian negara-negara ASEAN.

Kota Ho Chi Minh sangat padat penduduknya berjumlah sekitar 7 juta jiwa.

CHARMING SOUTHERN VIETNAM

Day 01

On arrival at Saigon International airport, met by our guide then transfer you to your hotel
The rest of day is at your leisure

Day 02

After breakfast at your hotel, leave Saigon for a visit to Cuchi tunnels.

North of Ho Chi Minh City lie the incredible Cu Chi Tunnels built by the Vietnamese resistance fighters during the years of struggle for independence. Four meters below the ground is a subterranean city on three different levels. This complex is spread over 200 kilometres and was able to withstand the force of repeated bombings. This subterranean city housed not only fighters but also schools and cinemas used by the local community.
Today the tunnels have been widened to allow easier access for the many overseas and local visitors who come tomarvel at the ingenuity and resilience of the war time inhabitants of Cu Chi.

08:00 Depart Ho Chi Minh City for a drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Leaving the bustling city behind the scenery begins to change; first to lush rice paddies, then to rubber plantations, and finally to villagers drying noodles by the side of the road and going about their daily chores.
On arrival start the visit with the Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc sections of the tunnel. Here you can imagine what it was like to be a guerrilla complete with Russian Carbine rifles and AK 47's. On display in the visitor's section you can see a map of the tunnel system; this really helps you comprehend the complexity and the ingenious design of the tunnels.

Back in Ho Chi Minh City for lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, spend a halfday to visit Hochiminh city

Explore Ho Chi Minh City teeming with color, movement, sounds and scents. Its rich history, exotic flavours and astounding development make this city a unique dichotomy of languid and quick. Discover the grand Colonial Buildings in the city center, take in the Reunification Palace untouched since 1975 and Giac Lam Pagoda, a classic example of 18th Century Vietnamese architecture.

District one of Ho Chi Minh offers some of the finest Colonial Buildings all within a short cyclo ride. The Municipal Theatre, constructed in 1899, has entertained local residents for over 100 years. Gaze across the square to the Continental Hotel, where author Graham Green and the wartime press once lived.
See the landmarks that have inspired many awriter. The Notre Dame Cathedral provides an interesting backdrop for the city's bustling traffic. See Gustav Eiffel's General Post Office, unchanged since its completion in the 1880's. Pass the Hotel de Ville, easily the most ornate of all the Colonial structures in the city.
The Reunification Palace, left much the same as it was when overrun by advancing North Vietnamese forces in 1975, a fascinating insight into Vietnam's political and cultural climate.

Day 03

After breakfast at your hotel.

Leave bustling Saigon at 0800 for Cai Be, along the way enjoy the scenery as you leave the city for the countryside. After arriving in Cai Be, board your boat for a cruise on the Mekong River, cruise down small tributaries and waterways and explore the Delta' second most famous produce after rice, tropical fruits.
